This was actually an email that was drafted over two days and meant to hit the mailbox of Bessie and Geoff in relation to their lifechange experiment. The mail kept bouncing back with and without the pictures attached...so I thought...instead of just giving up ..I might as well share this with them through this blog entry......
Hopefully if anything this is something they both get to read even if they decide not to do anything about it.
Heres to doing all you can and then letting go...

The email.....:)
Good morning Guys,
I've seen the web page, grinned, seen the news report and realised it was for real and now with the way things are going in my life I thought to myself "oh well,...why not! " so here I am.

Ill give you some background about my wife and myself and then get down to the presentation of our wish list.
My wife was all excited about this whole thing and had collected pics to send and was contemplating how to put across our request to you...but im having a go at it all impromptu and with aid of some pics already taken so here goes...
Ever since I got to know N ( My Wife) , Ive had meaningful things happen in my life. Not good or bad...but meaningful.Ok...Miracles! ( No im not a religious fanatic but what do you call the list below if not that ?...
I took a leap of faith changing careers just before meeting her and did some studying before I got a job again. It was the first miracle for me to successfully make the career transition.

Meeting her was magic. I got to know her over the net initially and had to fly down to Dubai to stop pinching myself too much. It was meant to be. I came back and decided to rent another house....I just knew we were going to get married soon. We both did. The Best Miracle.
I started the hunt for a good home to start our lives together and ended up one day looking at this two bedroom townhouse with high ceilings in the hall and an atrium which let light into the house , a bed room with a sky light in the bedroom...."No way I will get this house for our first home"...I thought to myself looking around at around 10 groups of people taking advantage of the Open house. I did apply for the house and I did get it. (Part one of Miracle Three )
I needed furniture for the home and came across a family wanting to get rid of some garden furniture ( round table and 6 chairs ) I got chatting with them and the husband took a liking to me and asked me if I had a bed, "no" i said quizzically. He then insisted I take an old bed of his which had a story about it. He and his wife started their lives together with that bed and had since gone on to had a child. They were quite a loving couple and I fell more in love with the story than the bed and agreed to take it. He dropped it off in his Ute as I couldn't carry the parts of the bed in my Hatchback.
I told the story to my now fiance and she was in agreement with me..this classified as a miracle. Miracle number two.
Before N came down to Sydney I told her she would love the house and didn't send her any pictures of it. When she did come down finally, I did the 'hands over your eyes...and open them now ' bit and she never stopped grinning. It was the validation for the love nest I knew would come. Miracle number three. ( Final Part of Miracle Three )
After we got Married, my wifes family had to fly back to Dubai. I knew she would miss home. Her mom, dad and bro and also the Family Pet Rico...a fun loving bouncy playful poochie. I had this in mind and a couple of days before her family had to fly back...we found a stray looking lost in front of our home...He had no collar looked like a Pomeranian and Shitzu ( no idea how to spell that ) and was friendly and approached us cautiously before allowing us to pet him.

Visits to the vet the next day showed that he had no chip and hence legally no owner...We ended up calling him Mr Miracle and now a Public name..Kibbles. Kibbles actually made my wife realise that something was really going on here....just when we needed things to go our way..they seemed to fall into place...I call him Miracle number four.

We discovered cheap books in the Lifeline book sale and found a possibility to afford books and have our own library some day...Miracle five..
We decided renting was too expensive and started a hunt for a home to buy in May. We found a home that we could afford...really cheap with a yard for Kibbles to run around in...after a lot of rejections we finally got a positive answer from a bank and settlement for that is soon to go through...expected first or second week of September. Our dream home..not the best but we will make it our dream home , we hope... ( The house is on 4 H&&&&, Mac&&&& Fields...)Miracle six

Life has given us a good deal and we are living on one income and not a great one at that but its keeping us going and we are dealing with issues I guess a normal couple does.
If you give us stuff like you have said..it might be number 7 or 8...why two numbers here .? ..well I just got made Redundant yesterday. I'm expecting this to be a good time for another Miracle to happen...so heres my list and reasons....
Number one on our wishlist is the lounge #A1
We have a hand me down sofa now which had planks which can be felt under the cushions which are old with age...Me and my wife cant sit on it for more than hour without having to shift or put another cushion under us. My wife always reassures me that she knows we will one day be able to afford a good lounge with a place to lay down and stretch out....so Im hoping you can accommodate her on that.

We actually will move into our new home mid September...amidst all the exciting things happening in our lives...Number two on our wishlist is the book case#A4
We have since discovering Lifeline book fairs...got quite a collection...but we still would love to get more...we love biographies, non fiction, self improvement and science related stuff ..I can share our book list with you if you ever want to see what its made up of . :)

Number three on our wishlist is the Drill #A6 ( I would need it to remove the screws that currently have been drilled in by the person who donated it to me...he came home and installed it and then screwed the slats in for additional strength :)
Number four on our wishlist is the printer#A4
We shall need to print resumes ( my wife by early next year when she gets her Permanent Residency visa and is able to seek active work).
Number five on our wishlist is the laptop #A7
My laptop now has blanking screen and the USB hubs acting up...its only a matter of time...its over 3 years old..we just need something that works for now.. If you could help us with a Desktop or a Laptop , we could make do fine with it.
Number six on our wishlist is the Car #A13
My White hatchback was selected because It was practical. the price I paid for it ,I later found out was a direct result of the 'Good salesman job', ive been told I have a gullible face...this pretty much proved it...so now I have a fuel guzzling, wheel wobbling, engine chugging car that I still think is my good friend by the way..but i wonder how long before I wont be able to afford the Insurance...Driving on the Motor way is a bit scary especially when the wheels start wobbling.
Its a 1992 model, and is looking more the vintage that it is. A good car for me is one that saves me petrol and gets me from A to B. Im not too much into the style of it but more into economy of it. Plus maybe finally I will be able to take my wife on that long drive with music to listen to...oh yea...the sound system doesn't work either.
Continued from home..( Sunday early Morning ).....
Number 7 on our wishlist are the cameras a His and a Hers #A11 & #A12
My wife and I enjoy taking pictures of anything around us that might catch our eye. Since Nisha is new to Australia shes pretty much discovering it daily. I had a camera but its got a blank LCD display where previously you could see the image being shot. We would love to be able to pursue this passtime of just taking the odd angle and admiring it at a later date..Ive done some photography amateurish stuff. Get on Flickr and check out El Nino...thats me. I stopped adding pics after my camera broke down.
Number 8 on our list is the Toaster and Kettle , our two slice toaster quit on us unexpectedly and was new too. Could you help? :)
#A68 & #A69
The number of things Id like to individually number Ill just list and explain why we want or need it :- )
#A16, #A18 & #A57 & of course #A10
The books, the dvd and vhs collection and the DVD player with the VHS player with the Ikea light wood 4 shelf bookcase/entertainment unit/shoe shelf of course as we'd like to have some shelf space for our growing family of books.
We love watching the odd movie and I love business and self improvement books ( very few that I really like ) We both love our books and your giving them to us will just provide them with a happy home. We don't have a DVD VHS player and we would be sure to use the one you gave us.
#A50 through #54
Ikea light wood small desk with slide out return
Wooden Tall boy chest of 7 drawers - ( This would be really handy for the bedroom, given that we dont have built ins in any of the three rooms of the new house )
Futon lounge/fold out double bed- specifically really great to have in the second room
2 x desks ( one for the bedroom and one for our to be 'Reading Room' cum 'Study' )
Officeworks black desk chair
Officeworks pale wood filing cabinet
We would need the office furniture as we plan to make one of the three rooms in our new home a study cum library.
More cool stuff we could really use to lighten & Brighten up our new home:-
#A59 Rectangular art clock
#A60 Buddha head
#A62 Tall standing Lamp
#A64 Japanese Water Feature
#A56 Metal round nautical port hole style Mirror
#A74 Glass coffee table with artistic metal tubular base
#A70 Pictionary -- This will positively make my wife squeal with joy and clap her hands...she loves this game and talked to me once about how happy she was playing it with her folks back home in Dubai... :)
Any Kitchen Furniture ( cabinets, benchtops sinks, accessories like cooktops or ovens and those over head thingys over the cooktops, )( remembered that the 'thingy' is called a rangehood! )that we can use in our new house would be a blessing given the fact that our to be kitchen would need to be worked on and we are low on funds and in a quandry about what we are going to do about it...Ive attached a pic of the current run down kitchen but ...yea..let us know if you can help us there.. Thanks in advance.

We would love all the stuff that could help make our new home feel more cosy with both the things we would need and want.
The biggest reason we have made this complete list is because its comprehensive and we believe Miracles happen and are going to live our lives like that. We would love to also give away some of the stuff we have but right now we cant afford a lot of it.
If nothing in this list catches your eye as a good enough reason to share stuff with us let us know if you are aware of anyone who would like to hire a volunteer to be interior designer ( read as decorator ) my wife, who has yet to receive her proper residency visa and then find a job....this would be a good break for her.
We are a newly wed couple going through an interesting first year so far:-
Marriage
New rented home
New pet
New hand me down furniture
New job opportunity ( redundancy )
New find of used books at throw away prices...
Can you add to the Miracle that already is part of our lives?
Thanks in advance Bessie and Geoff. Hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
N & Noble ( Im surprising N...she doesn't know Ive sent this email yet...will tell her when she wakes up, I woke up at 645am this morning to finish off this request to you guys :)...its up to you guys though to really surprise her !, Cheers and all the best !! )
PS:
Landmark events to come...
Final day at current job is 6th Oct, 2009.
Expected day of moving in new home is 15th September ( Settlement will be finalised in the coming week)
Ive attached Pictures for you to have a look at life with me and N...related to the stuff we have asked for in some cases...and otherwise just a couple of neat pics of Mr Miracle and some books...Hope you like the gull...that was just sharing a good pic moment ( used my phone but I reckon its neat still )
I hope this long email does not put you off...but I realise you guys put a lot of work into your website and its only fair to give you some background to the people who your stuff might go to....Hope it all is ok with you.
All the best however you decide to go with the stuff giving away deal but more so with your adopting the concept of flow and synchronicity. Life would be so much different without a Mortgage and so much better with a stable job...its a pity that what you guys are attempting at doing is not the norm but the exception...
END of worlds longest Post Script.:)
Oh by the way ..:)...this bottom line in my email hasn't changed from the week I got to know N....previously id change it every week..:) , Rather a nice one dont you think?
